Trial Modules - for the Nutrition Education Program

Module structure

Every module is subdivided into several units. At the end of each unit you will find some study questions that will help you revise the course material.  Although the answers can be found at the end of each module, you should try using your own words when answering the questions, so you can compare your version with the one provided.

You should repeat the units until you are able to answer all didactic questions correctly. Only then you should start working on the next unit.

Trial Modules for Our Integrative Nutrition Education Program

Module 1 – Content

  1. Structure of the Human Body
  2. Cardiovascular System
  3. Respiratory System
  4. Liver
  5. Gall Bladder
  6. Pancreas
  7. Kidneys and Urinary Tract

The first module of our distance learning program is about the human cytology (science of cells), anatomy (science of body frame), and morphology (science of organs and body structure). We begin with the structure of the human body and the characteristics of specific organs, describing the role they play, the conditions that are connected with them, and what we can do ourselves to ensure that these organs remain healthy for as long as possible, or become healthy again.

You will learn about some very important nutrition-related mechanisms and find out how fascinating this topic is from a holistic perspective.

Module 2 – Content

  1. Digestive System
  2. Immune System
  3. Endocrine System
  4. Spine, Intervertebral Discs and Back Muscles
  5. Teeth and Gums

The second module continues to deal with the human anatomy and morphology, including introductions to some organ systems. The most significant organ system is probably the digestive system — at least when it comes to nutrition, as several organs and organ systems within our bodies are equally important, of course. Besides the digestive system, you will also learn about the immune system and the endocrine system. The spine, intervertebral discs, and the back are also on the agenda. The module concludes by addressing the very relevant — but often neglected — topic of our teeth.

Module 3 – Content

  1. Acid-Base Balance
  2. Ground Regulation of the Connective Tissue
  3. Homeostasis
  4. Metabolism
  5. General Nutrition
  6. Carbohydrates
  7. Fats
  8. Proteins

The third module can be divided into two main subject areas: First, you will learn about the acid-base balance, which is incredibly important for your health, as well as the ground regulation of the connective tissue and the homeostasis; and second, you will begin to explore the very comprehensive area of nutrition. You will learn why the body relies on the supply of high-quality nutrients, how foods are metabolized, and what makes a mere food product a living food.

Module 4 – Content

  3. Free Radicals and Antioxidants
  4. Secondary Plant Compounds
  5. Enzymes

  8. Industrially Processed Food
  9. Salt

The fourth module delves even further into the subject of nutrition. Comprehensive information about mineral substances, trace elements, vitamins, free radicals and antioxidants, secondary plant compounds, and enzymes are part of the curriculum. You will also get tasty recipe ideas for healthy superfoods and interesting information about processed foods and salt.

The fifth module offers more in-depth information about foods such as sugar and milk. You will hear about the cause of a voracious appetite for sweet things and the effects of milk consumption on your health. In addition, you will learn everything you need to know about food intolerances and allergies. The significance of water makes up another part of this module. Toward the end, the science of homotoxins and fungal diseases will also be examined more closely. The module concludes with the topics of “bowel cleanse” and “healthy skin care”.
